SK-AM64B: SK-AM64 SR1.0 Support

Part Number: SK-AM64B

Hello All, I purchased a SK-AM64 (unintentionally not the B or M1 variant) (XAM6442ASFGGAALV) via a 3rd party as an entry point to the TI heterogenous SoC families. My goal is to gain knowledge in multi-processor communications for industrial motor control and robotics.

Anyways, my understanding is that the current MCU+ SDK and CCS 21 only support the SR2.0 (AM6442B) silicon revision with notable changes in power and clocking. I have successfully loaded the Processor SDK using the suggested fix to load the GP version of tiboot3.bin and Linux is running. When I try to use CCS to load the LED Blink NORTOS example for an R5F core, I am met by numerous core initialization issues and GEL script failures. I have not gotten R5F code running nafter several days spent working on it.

Is it possible to work with an original SR1.0 SK-AM64 in the current SDK? Is there a guide to the required changes? I'm not sure I have the base of knowledge to correct some of these issues without a working example to review. Do I need to source a version of this board with SR2.0 silicon?

I'm hesitant to revert to CCS 11 and MCU+ SDK 8 as these seem to have notable differences in the development environment and compile behavior. I'm looking to gain transferrable knowledge, not just get older hardware running.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
