AM62P: Codec encoder/decoder CTS failures on custom Android 16 AOSP build for AM62P

Hello Team,


I am testing Android 16 AAOS on the TI AM62P platform.
Issues:

  1. Decoder timeouts/start failures: c2.v4l2.avc.decoder and c2.v4l2.hevc.decoder tests time out in MediaCodec.native_setup or native_dequeueOutputBuffer, or throw CodecException in native_start (CtsMediaV2TestCases, CtsVideoTestCases).
  2. Transcode quality: TranscodeQualityTest SSIM 0.31 where 0.9 is expected (AVC-to-AVC, forced encoding).
  3. Module hangs: CtsMediaCodecTestCases and CtsMediaEncoderTestCases time out, and the device goes offline during the run.

Question: Are the c2.v4l2 AVC and HEVC codecs expected to pass these CTS media modules on Android 16 for AM62P? Is there a known BSP or V4L2 fix for the native_setup and native_start failures?
