USB end device recognition issues with u-boot

Hi team,

I have a customer who is booting via a u-boot image (modified at first, reverted to version available from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM35x-OMAP35x-PSP_04.02.00.07_Release_Notes#Introduction) with an TMDSEVM3517.  When they insert a run of the mill pen drive into the USB host port, they have no device recognition.  However, when they boot using a Linux boot image, the device is recognized.

Is USB support lacking from the generally available u-boot image?
