problem in using Netra VS card

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TVP5158

We are using VS card. We have following question regarding the capture.

1)       Is the VIP port can give yuv420 as output (FVID2_DF_YUV420SP_UV)

2)       The TVP5158 decoder gives the interlaced output. Is it possible to configure the TVP decoder to give the progressive data at the VIP ports.

No, it cant give in multi channel case. It can only give if there is only one channel per VIP port.

TVP5158 can only support NTSC or PAL resolutions so it can give progressive data. You can try using HDVPSS de-interlacer to convert it to progressive data.

  • Slight correction...

"TVP5158 can only support NTSC or PAL resolutions so it can NOT give progressive data."
