I am working on a project along with two of my class mates. We intend to implement face detection and subsequently carry out eye detection and eye blink detection. We are familiar with the computer vision libraries available on OpenCV and are clear on their use with a laptop loaded with openCV libraries run on visual studio. However, we're looking to run our application on a DSP. On looking through material online, I found that there are many TI DSPs which support video processing and come with TI libraries. Could someone please tell me how powerful the TI libraries are? Could I also get an opinion on the expected difficulty in implementing our application using TI libraries and how much effort might go into it? The eye blink detection will have to be real time. Thanks for your help.
