About DM8127 ARM frequency setting.

Hi all,

The current PLL settings of DM8127 is the following:

ARM clk: 600MHz
DDR clk: 400MHz
IVA clk: 450MHz
ISS clk: 400MHz
DSP clk: 400MHz
DSS clk: 200MHz

I know the DM8127 in IPNC is 1GHz, If I want to set ARM to 720MHz , 900MHz or 1GHz, how to set the frequency of others(such as DDR, ISS, DSS etc.)? what's the relation of them? which document I can get it?

By modifying files in \u-boot\arch\arm\cpu\arm_cortexa8\ti81xx\sys_info.c

You can refer to the TRM of DM8127.

Hi Gomo,

Do you want to test these frequencies in IPNC hardware or the EVM? If its IPNC -

For clocks update this file: u-boot\arch\arm\include\asm\arch-ti81xx\clocks_ti814x.h

If you change OPP voltage update this file: u-boot\board\ti\ti8148_ipnc\evm.c

For OPP mapping you can refer to the datasheet.
