VDD_MPU_MON Connection

Hi,

In Section 3.4.3 of AM335x datasheet (SPRS717B, Jan 2012), VDD_MPU_MON is to be connected to VDD_MPU if voltage monitoring is not used.

However, VDD_MPU_MON seems to be an output pin to me, since it can be used to provide votlage feedback to PMIC. Therefore is it appropriate to connect VDD_MPU_MON to VDD_MPU?

The VDD_MPU_MON pin is a passive analog connection to the VDD_MPU power domain on the silicon. It acts like another VDD_MPU_MON power input when remote voltage monitoring is not used.

I will request the data manual be changed to show an arrow pointing inward on the VDD_MPU_MON connection shown in the second portion of the VDD_MPU_MON Connectivity figure.

IS it possible to monitor this pin to see if the MPU domain is indeed switched off when entering DS1 or standby power saving mode?
i.e. is the pad on the far side of the internal power domain switch?
