Exec Graph is disabled in CCSV4.2.4.00033 with DSP/BIOS version 5.41.10.36

I tried to view the task graph (Exec Graph) - but it is disabled. How to enable it. I am using CCSV4.2.4.00033 and DSP/BIOS 5.41.10.36. I installed the latest version of SYS/BIOS, which is  6.33.01.25, but the ccsv4 tool wont allow me to use the BIOS version - because there is only a column for DSP/BIOS version under build properties/ccs build/DSP/BIOS support/ DSP/BIOS version - even if I brouse manually the location of SYS/BIOS it wont take it.  The SYS/BIOS is already present in windows/preferences/CCS/RTSC/Products and repositories under SYS/BIOS.

  • Hi Tharangini,

What do you mean by disabled? Do you see any raw data logs?

Which version of BIOS are you planning to use 5.41.10.36 or BIOS 6?

Could you send a snapshot of the problem you are seeing?

  • Hi Tom,

    Thanks for your reply.

1.disabled- in the sense- greyed out - not having a black font colour- instead having  a grey font colour. Yes I see raw data logs - pls find attached picture

    2. I would like to try out both ( like switch between them whenever i needed) - at the moment the project is linked to 5.41.10.36 , but I would like to use BIOS 6 aswell (which i couldnt link to my project coz it wont allow me to - there is no option to include sys/bios - there is option only to include dsp/bios in ccsv 4

    3.

  • I got the Exec graph working now.

    This is what I did:

    1.followed the steps from section 7.1 to 7.5 of spraas7g.pdf (Migrating a DSP/BIOS to SYS/BIOS)

    2.did the following:

    1) Right click on the .cfg file and select Open with ->XGCONF

    2) The configuration tool will open.

    3) On the right select BIOS

    4) Scroll around the interactive system overview. You will find near the bottom in the Diagnostics Box Realtime Analysis. If you click on this the realtime analysis will open. You can enable the agent, configure refresh rate etc from there.
