mean of "30% of supply for up to 30% signal period" (overshoot/undershoot spec)

Hi,
We can find the sentence "30% of supply for up to 30% signal period" on AM335x datasheet P.77, as follows.   Could you please let me know the meaning of "signal period"??

This sentence is said in the transient Overshoot/Undershoot specification at IO PAD.   My understanding is that "signal period" stands for the period from this transition to "NEXT" transition (For Example, from High-to-Low to Low-to-High) on external signal.  Is it correct?  Please let me know.

Thanks and best regards,
 M.HATTORI.
