Can AM3517EVM rotate video picture to 270degrees ?

    I have a question about AM3517EVM video display function.

    Can AM3517EVM rotate video picture to 270degrees ?

    Here are condition and environment.

    - Video signal is NTSC formatted and it is input to composite input
     terminal(J8).

- Output(LCD display) size is SVGA (800x600).

- Patch [dma-contig-to-free-pages.txt] is already applied.

- Developed based on "ti-sdk-am3517-evm-05.02.00.00" environment.

    - PSP is below
        <x-loader>x-load-1.51-psp04.02.00.07
        <uboot>u-boot-2010.06-psp04.02.00.07.sdk
        <kernel>linux-2.6.37-psp04.02.00.07
    - Software is "userptr_loopback.c"

Yes, you can rotate the picture to 270 degree.

I would recommend you to use kernel code from Arago Tree, since there are some bug-fixes which we have pushed post PSP04.02.00.07 release.

Hi Vaibhav,

We are also facing issue with 90 & 270 degree rotation. We have applied some patches from above link. But it is not working for us.

Could you please suggest which patches are required to resolve this issue?
