GPIO - internal circuitory of OMAP-L138

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65070, OMAP-L138

Hi,

I have a very odd application wherein I am planning to use any GPIO (configurable Pull) to turn on TPS65070.

To turn on TPS65070 typically we need to provide switch on PB_IN pin. The condition is to make PB_IN low so to turn on outputs of TPS. This will turn the OMAP on. My problem is I cannot afford to have mechanical switch, so I am planning to connect PB_IN to OMAP GPIO. This should turn ON TPS as soon as fully charged battery is connected.

If anyone has any idea on this topic please share. Also if possible please share the internal circuitory of GPIO's of OMAP-L138. I have seen this circuitory in TI MSP series processor. they just have block diagram representation of the same.

Also, how to get info on default pin functionality.

BTW, I am using pin A16 to do this.

Thanks

Pankaj
