C6EZRun and the EZSDK

I’ve run into a bit of a surprise.  I recently found out that TI removed the C6EZtools from the EZSDK (as of version 5.03) and has not updated the EZSDK main page online to reflect that:

http://www.ti.com/tool/linuxezsdk-davinci “… The EZ SDK also includes video/audio codecs and DSP-accelerated algorithms as well as tools, such as C6EZRun and C6EZAccel, to allow ARM developers to easily leverage the DSP for signal processing tasks.”

This posting confirms it:

Furthermore, this community posting indicates that C6run might not be easily integrated into EZSDK5.03:

So, questions: What is going on here?  Is TI moving away from this tool?  If so, I need some guidance.
