de-interlacing 1080I @25fps video input using Capture-Encode example

I am working on DM8148 EVM . I am using EZSDK 5.03

Please answer this question .

My DVD player can deliver  1080I @25fps ,can the DEI component do de-interlacing for video input 1080I @25fps ?

The capture-encode example for video input 1080P @25fps works fine ,i can see the clear display . In case of interlaced capture at 1080I @25fps ,i see half of the screen with green Monochrome image and the rest half is noise .I feel DEI component is not de-interlacing for 1080I @25fps video input .

I have done the changes you have mentioned in your posts ,but i dont see a proper display for interlaced capture (1080I @25fps) .

Please comment on this ,as we don't see any information in the OMX manual .
