Sample code/project for task creation?

Hello,

I am using bios_6_32_05_54 with CCS 5.1.0.

I have used several examples from this folder:

C:\CCStudio_v5.1\bios_6_32_05_54\packages\ti\sysbios\examples

There is no sample code here which demonstrates task creation. I have searched for "Task.create" in all files. Is there an example project for task creation somewhere?

I see there are examples with "Task_create" in .c files, but none where the task is created in a .cfg file. Are there examples of the .cfg file option?

There are examples other than those. When you create a new CCS Project, select Project templates and examples->SYS/BIOS and choose Minimal. There are probably others with static Task creation.

Hi Annie,

I would recommend using the CCS project wizard to create a new SYS/BIOS project.

Within CCS, go to Project > New CCS Project. You will find a project called "Static Example". This one will show you how to use the RTSC .cfg to create tasks statically.

The SYS/BIOS User's Guide is also another place to find out how to create Tasks, Semaphores, etc...
