Hello Everyone,

When we connectted the RS232 to the computer then powered on the EVM6678LE, we could get nothing on the COM port.

And we could't enter the web using 172.17.10.76 .

Could anyone tell me what may have wrong on my devices ?

I assume you are trying to run the out of box HUA demo? Could you please verify the following:

1. You have setup the hardware as specified at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/TMDXEVM6678L_EVM_Hardware_Setup#Hardware_Setup_Steps, specifically the shunt settings for serial port setup?

2. You have followed the steps at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/BIOS_MCSDK_2.0_Getting_Started_Guide#Running_the_Demonstration_Application, including the serial port settings?

3. If you are booting in static IP, I think if I'm not mistaken, the board should come up with IP address 192.168.2.100, GW IP address 192.168.2.101 and subnet mask 255.255.254.0. Could you try that out.

Thanks evry much.

I saw the spec of hardware settings, and found that the shunt settings for serial port setup is wrong, and now we could see information from the COM port.

Another problem is that when we connectted the emulator to the PC, we fonund there is no JTAG driver in the PC shown as following image .

Need we to install the blackhawk driver specia?

I fonun the driver folder in C:\Program Files\Blackhawk\Emulation\Drivers\Bh560v2\v1.0.0.5, and the dirver has not be installed automatic, so we need to install it manual.

Now another question, we want to test the evm pci-e funtion, how we could test that.

It looks have not pcie driver, need we develop the pcie driver for 6678 on windows or linux system?
