How to test the performance of the internal and external Buses of the C6678

Hi, everyone.

I start to learn the C6678 recently. And I didn't have any DSP using experience before. But my assignment is about how to test the performance of the internal and external buses of the C6678.

Although someone had told me about some possible methods to test the buses. I still have no idea how to get started.

Is anyone here kind enough to help me with some detailed methods like some codes or the flow chart or something like that. Thanks a lot.

    Nicole,

    I am not aware of any performance tests. The MCSDK has a lot of code examples; however, this focuses on functional examples, and is typically not optimized for perfomance. Your best bet would be to reference the throughput performance application note for Keystone DSPs (SPRABK5). This document includes performance data for the C6678 device.
