Support for SCCB in DM3715 I2C

Hi,

I am working on a project with DM37x processor and is trying to interface Omni Vision 2659 module. Ov2659 supports SCCB interface which is a variant of I2C and we are seeing that there is no ACK in SCCB interface. Found that DM37x processor specifically supports this mode, but Linux I2C driver does not this at present. We are using Android 2.3.4 based on Linux kernel 2.6.37.

1. Would like to know if there is any support for SCCB in Linux I2C driver for this processor, if it is available as a patch or any reference source code also will be helpful

2. Does any one have Ov2659 camera sensor driver which can be shared?

I'm not sure about your second question. But I can certainly answer your first question. Whatever you've read about SCCB is only partially correct. SCCB in fact is exactly same as I2C and it will send ACK also. This is just a different naming by Omnivision instead of using I2C directly. I'm not sure why they've done this.

You can go ahead with the current I2C driver implementation. It will work fine.
