We have a custom board with DM8148.
The custom board has usb modem. whenever I do a soft reset on the modem, the terminal control is completely lost ( logged in through UART and/or telnet ) with the message provided in the subject line.
Linux kernel - 2.6.37
Filesystem - Linux EZSDK filesystem
usb driver - sierra.ko, usbserial.ko

Could someone please advise on the possible reasons for this issue.
