ISP Resizer with PSP-04.02.00.07

Hi,

We were using /dev/omap-resizer with 03.00.01.06 (2.6.32) to resize the video being played from file. Recently, we migrated to 04.02.00.07 (2.6.37) and looks like this version doesn't have this driver.

Is there any way to use ISP resizer in memory-to-memory mode with this release? As, I understand ISP resizer driver is exposing /dev/video5 (input) and /dev/video6 (output) device nodes. Is it possible to get this done using these device nodes? Any sample application for reference?

Did you find a solution to hardware resizer on kernel 2.6.37 for "picture buffer" ?

I ported omap-resizer character driver from earlier PSP release (2.6.32) to 2.6.37.

Driver file is same as in 03.00.01.06 (omap-resizer.c).

You need to export an instance of the isp from isp.c and use it in omap-resizer. You also need to change the ISR in isp.c such that if callback has been set by omap-resizer then don't pass processing request to resizer module in isp and return. You can refer the release I mentioned for implementation detail (all you need is available in that release).
