I noticed in the System Control document that Device ID Register 3 contains a field for Silicon Revision level, and that Silicon Revision 2 is denoted with a "0" in that field. (I would have expected something else, like a "1" or a "2".) Why is it a "0?" If the Silicon is revised again, what value would be expected for that field?
