Keystone Architecture Security Accelerator - Latest version

Hello

Kindly provide me with the link of SA user guide newer than the Release SPRUGY6 (If it exists).

I have the following questions:

(i) AES CMAC is not supported in the above mentioned release (As per the user guide SPRUGY6) .I could not understand the intention of the feature mentioned in the User guide. Is there any specific reason for that mention?

(ii) SNOW3G F9 is not supported by SA. Am i right?

Cheers

Sujay

  • Sujayyendhiren,

The release you have (SPRUGY6) is the latest release.

AES CMAC is supported with the latest SA LLD release. The next release of the SA users guide will include this information.

You are right. Snow3G-F8 is supported, but Snow3G-F9 is not currently supported.

  • Thanks for the reply.

In the packages list of LLD - SA LLD is not there in  C:\ti\pdk_C6670_1_0_0_11\packages\ti\drv.

Can you please let me know the steps or provide me the link where we can request for SA LLD support?

  • The SA LLD is export controlled so it is not included in the MCSDK release.  If you are interested in the SA and meet the export control restriction requirements, we can arrange to send it to you.  I will get someone to contact you via private email to start the process.

  • Sujay,

Can you contact your local Field Apps Engineer or local sales marketing team for requesting the SA LLD information as Aditya has mentioned it's under export control and they will need to make sure that everything is in order before providing this.

    Best Regards,

    Chad

  • Hi Aditya,

    > AES CMAC is supported with the latest SA LLD release. The next release of the SA users guide will include this information.

AES CMAC is not supported by SA with Silicon Revision 1.0.

AES CMAC is supported by SA with Silicon Revision 2.0.

    Is my understanding right?

    Best regards,

    Daisuke

  • Hi Aditya,

Our customer want to use C667x with the SA.

It is necessary for their products to apply "3GPP TS 33.401".
    "3GPP TS 33.401" contains SNOW3G F8, AES CTR, SNOW3G F9, and AES CMAC.

You said AES CMAC is supported with the latest SA LLD release.

In other words the AES CMAC can be supported by help of the SA LLD which is software.
    Is my understanding right?

If it is right, can SNOW3G F9 be supported with the latest SA LLD in the future?

    Best regards,

    Daisuke

  • Daisuke,

The LLD is Drivers for the Security Accelerator HW.  You would need to purchase devices with the Security Accelerator enabled.  Both the SA enabled devices and the SA LLD are export controlled.  Please work with your local sales associate with regards to getting access to devices and the LLDs.

    Best Regards,

    Chad

  • Hi Chad,

    Thank you for the reply.

I am going to work with our local sales associate.

Does all of my question have to ask them?

    Best regards,

    Daisuke

  • Daisuke,

Anything regarding the Security Accelerator will require export control and you'll want to work through them.

    Best Regards,

    Chad

  • Hi Chad,

    Thank you for the reply.

I will entrust anything regarding the Security Accelerator to them.

    Best regards,

    Daisuke
