My customer wants to use SDI interface from AM3505 in order to reduce number of signals going to LCD.
However, LCD has 28bit parallel interface. The customer is thinking of using SN65LVDS302 Deserializer between the AM3505 and LCD.
With 28bit parallel interface, there are 24bits of data, PCLK, VSYNC, HSYNC, and ACBIAS.
It looks like with SDI interface going thru SN65LVDS302, they can achieve the same results. 24 bits of data, VSYNC, HSYNC, and ACBIAS becomes DE (data enable).
Will the SDI interface along with SN65LVDS302 give them the same result as using parallel interface when connected to a 28bit LCD.
