        I am using AM1808 experimenters kit. what is the significance of rom version in generating AIS file. how can i know my board rom version.

    The ROM has changed between different silicon revisions, so the AIS format changes as well. You usually need to create a new AIS file for each silicon revision.

    The silicon revision can be determined from the markings on the package. See the Device Nomenclature section of the datasheet to determine which silicon revision you have.
