IBL build problems

Hi everyone!

I am trying to build the IBL folowing the build_instructions.txt comes with mcsdk2_0_5_17. I have installed MinGW and its Toolskits on my windows 7 pc.

When I ran "make evm_c6678_i2c ENDIAN=little I2C_BUS_ADDR=0x51" I got the error: "c16x: command not found".

Any idea what's gone wrong? where can I get c16x ?

Hi. I had the same problem. Problem was in that: I didn't correct and run script setupenvLnx.sh (or setupenvMsys.sh) as it is described in "build_instructions.txt" in IBL doc folder

Hi Li,

First, it's cl6x. it's the compiler and linker of TI compiler toolchain. It can be achieved from here:

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Releases

IBL makefile system need it for compiling the sources and generating bin file. setupenvMsys.sh will help the makefile to set correct environment to find it.

If you have installed ccsv5, cl6x can also be found under “ccs_v5\ccsv5\tools\compiler\c6000\bin”. You will need to modify setupenvMsys.sh.
