PVR_K: (FAIL) SGXInit: Unable to validate device DDK version

Hi all,

As I power on/off my DM8148EVM (EZSDK 5.03.01.15 provided kernel & rootfs) throughout the day, I occasionally see the following error message in the console at boot.  When this occurs, the OpenGL ES Demos fail to run from the Matrix launcher, presumably because something failed in setting up the 3D Graphics engine?

When this happens, I can power cycle the board and everything's fine on the next power on.  The issue is fairly infrequent and intermittent.  Is this a known issue with a fix or workaround? Has anyone else even seen this?

The only change I can think of having made is setting the default output to HDMI (720p), via the provided change_display and change_resolution scripts.
