on DM6467, how to use VDCE to add timestamp in the video frame

I know that the VDCE have 2-bit Hardware Menu Overlay module which can blend video image, like OSD function.

But how can I use VDCE  to add timestamp in the video frame, any necessary documents should I have to read?

Does TI have some relative programs which use VDCE to blend video image?
