RTC SW_RESET

In section 20.3.5.19 of TRM SW_RESET is discussed but there is no bit in that Oscillator Register (OSC_REG) register to do so.Also in section 20.3.3.8 it is suggested that SW_RESET should be performed on the RTC module before the CPU interrupt controller is initialized.Please clarify
