I have a TMS320C5515EVM and a Digital Stethoscope Analogue Front End. The TMS320C5515 has an onboard AIC3204 audio codec. The Digital Stethoscope FE has an onboard AIC3254 audio codec.
When I installed Code Composer, there were some test code which could be used to test the functionalitu of the AIC3204 codec on the EVM. I wanted to use this same code to test the functionality of the AIC3254 codec on the DS FE. All I needed to do was to change the settings to use I2S0 instead of I2S2 and also some GPIO port settings to disable the AIC3204 and enable the AIC3254.
However, for some reason, the test is not working. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out why. I am now suspecting that the DS FE is defective.
