Hi

I've found recently released Android ICS in omappedia (http://omappedia.org/wiki/4AI.1.2_OMAP4_Icecream_Sandwich_Release_Notes ) for OMAP4470 Blaze development platform (Reference hardware platforms: TI OMAP4 4470 ES1.0 HS blaze_tablet2)  .

As We are planning to buy a development platform for OMAP4 ,  please let me know  about Blaze_Tablet2 (with OMAP4470) availability status and ordering instructions .

    Hi,

       You can purchace a Blaze Tablet 2 directly from the manufacturer (SVTronics) at http://www.svtronics.com/ecommerce/omap.

    The website currently says it ships with a 4460, but I'm sure if you contact SVTronics, they will ship you one with a 4470. I will gladly look into this for you today as well.

    Update:

    I spoke with SVTronics and they said there is a section on the order from where you can specify additional comments, and if you mention that you want a 4470 there, they will ship with one. Calling them will also work, and may be a better choice.

    Thanks a lot for your prompt reply .

    Would you please let me know about availability of 4470 in Blaze MDP too ?  I don't know which platform is better for development . regarding too Blaze MDP & Tablet spec , I think the MDP  has more peripherals such as 3 Cam sensors and DLP Pico Projector but Blaze tablet has larger Screen and PCI interface for GSM modem . 

    Also please let me know about open source driver availability in Blaze platforms for Cam sensors , WiLink 7 and other peripherals .
