UartBoot.exe insists my com port is between 1 and 4

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C5535

I am using the TI document "Using the TMS320C5535/34/33/32 Bootloader" (sprabl7a.pdf), and it shows bringing up the tool UartBoot.exe and setting the com port--in the example the com port is 36.  I am running on Windows 7 64-bit.  When I run it, I want to set the com port to 12, but I get a pop-up that states: "Please enter an integer between 1 and 4".

Anyone know how I can get around this?  Has anyone used UartBoot.exe?  I used the link in the document to download UartBoot.exe, from http://www-s.ti.com/sc/techlit/sprabl7.zip.
