Why C6accel tool is removed from DM816x EZSDK 5.03 ?

Hi TI,

In the release note for DM816x EZSDK 5.03, the C6accel tool is removed.

1)Why is C6accel tool removed for DM8168 ?

2)What other tool can we use to run our code on DSP core in DM8168 ?

    Any new tool to replace C6accel ?

    Hi,

    The C6Accel tool is no longer shipped with the EZSDK but it is available for free download. Please see - http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C6EZAccel

    Thanks for the reply.

    1) Will TI look into C6accel issue if I have problem with C6accel on DM8168 ?

         My concern is that TI might not support C6accel on DM8168.

         Is C6accel becoming an obsolete tool ?

         Without C6accel tool, what other tool can I use for ARM to run code on DSP core ?

    2) For C6accel libraries, I can download the source code for dsplib and imagelib.

        Where can I download the source code for the OpenCV API calls in C6accel library ?

         I want to follow  the OpenCV source code to add other OpenCV function calls using C6accel.
