Hi,

I use DM8168 EVM board with Expansion I/O Daughtercard，when I try to capture video from DV and encode to a h264 file, it stops at the capture status. The application demo used is the capture_encode_a8host_debug.xv5T.

DV cable is connected to video connector (J7, J6, J5) on the expansion I/O daughtercard, or HDMI cable connected, but why cannot they work properly?

Can anyone give me help? Thanks!

Try a non HDCP encrypted source.

I don't believe copy protected video is supported at the moment.

Hi,

Are you trying to input components source or DVI source. DVI is still not supported and tested.

Hi,

What resolution are you trying to input to component connector. Try removing board and insterting it again. That should help.

Hi Hardik Shah, thanks for your answers! Since the DV only supports 576i or 1080i/576i in YPbPr mode, so I set it to 1080i/576i.

Hi,

I am not getting 576i/1080i. But I am getting feeling that due to EDID read not available or something like that your source might be falling back to 576i. And 576i is not a supported resolution for TVP7002 input. Please make sure that you are giving 1080i input only.
