6455 EMIFA in synchronous mode

Hello,

I   want  to use   EMIFA  in synchronous mode  in  my  6455DSK.I  connect  my  DSP  to  FPGA  .I  had  create  a  synchronous  FIfo  in  FPGA  and  FIfo  can  work well.

I  cnofigure  the  EMIFA  in synchronous  mode   and  I'm  sure  it  is  right.  But  it  doesn't  work  and i  can't  read   from  the  fifo  and   what  I  read  is  always  0xFFFFFFFF;

I  had  test  the  signal   and   it  went  the  same  as  in  the  manual.

I  don't  know  why  .I  don't  know whether something  must  be noticed in  the  EMIFA  or   FIFO?

    Hu Shushu,

    What are your thoughts and observations for debugging this? From what you have said, everything is right and it should work.

    What are you available methods of debug? What have you tried?

            I   have  tested  the  timing  of  the  signal  in  the  EMIFA  and  it  seems  all  right .

           I   have  found  a thread  that   the  expert  say we  can't  use synchronous  mode in EMIFA to daughts card .but  somebody  in  the  group  say  that  he  can  use  the

    synchronous  mode.

        Can  you  give  me  a  project  that  can use   synchronous  mode in EMIFA to daughts card ?

    Hu Shushu,

    I cannot discuss intelligently "a thread" or "somebody in the group". Please supply a link to the thread you found. I seem to recall something like that recently.

    If somebody said he can use synchronous mode, then you should ask him for that project. I cannot supply such a project.
