Who can I talk to about Ducati?

Hello, I would like to know how I can contact anyone about licensing for Ducati_m3.bin.

We are actively working on bringing a newer kernel to the Nook Tablet so that we may enjoy things like CyanogenMod 9 and Ubuntu 12.04 on our devices. In order to do this, we require an update from 2.6 to 3.0+ kernel. In order to update the kernel, we require access to a proper Ducati. We have several hobbiest programmers working on the solution for this Nook Tablet (blaze based) device. I've personally contacted every email and mailing list I can possibly get ahold of and I've yet to receive a single response. It seems that TI is making it difficult to work with the OMAP processor for those who would like to learn about it.

How does one go about getting a response from someone about Ducati?

Do you need only binary or do you need access to source? Ducati and syslink compatbile with K3.0 are available in Android ICS releases. Refer to

This will give you Ducati binary. If you need source, you will have to sign SLA with TI.

Hi, we are also interested in OMAP4 development for 3.x kernels. Ducati binary is available via omapzoom but it uses GPtimer 11 as WDT and we are experienced the same issue as described here: http://e2e.ti.com/support/omap/f/849/t/169373.aspx. How can we get the Ducati binary with GPTimer 10 as the watchdog for the M3 instead of 11?

You can change GPTIMER by modifying Ducati source. To get source code you will need a licensing agreement with TI.

Hi, I am not a corporate consumer so I am not able to get the licence to have access to the Ducati sources. Is there any way to get the modified Ducati binary? Our team of developers would appreciate it and I hope we can contribute even more to the development community with our open-source 3.x kernel project.

Custom releases is not supported on this forum. Suggest you to work around by modifying board design or A9 side SW.
