We need to design a system to capture and display 4x D1 PAL/NTSC videos on an LCD display. A typical 7" 800x480 TFT LCD display will be used in the product.
I need some help on choosing the most suitable DaVinci Processor for this device.
Device will capture 4x D1 camera images simultaneously and display them on the LCD. It should scale the videos to fit them into one screen. This part is exactly same with a typical Quad Surveillance device.
We also need to produce some static computer graphics, some 2D plots, bitmaps etc at one quarter of the screen while the device is displaying 3 camera images in other 3 quadrants.
At the next phase of the project, we might need to capture the videos to a SD/MMC memory.
I would like to know if a DM368 @ 433MHz could handle this? We don't need to capture and display videos at maximum frame rate. It is ok if we go down to 15-18fps/channel. I just know it can capture and display 1080p video @30fps. But I don't have any idea about 4x D1 videos streaming from TVP5146.
If D368 is not capable of doing this, what is the most suitable device for this project? Since this will be a commercial product with relatively high volume, of course the cost matters. It might not be be possible to use very high-end DaVinci processors for this project.

Gokhan
And one additional note,
The cameras are standard PAL / NTSC cameras. But we recording/capturing them at CIF format is acceptable. I don't know if DM368 could handle this downscaling too.
