our secondary video input port is being used as PIP source where the source can be hot plugged. I've noticed that while hot plugging, the VIP locks up and does not produce any more frames. I've used SMLogger to confirm that no frames are received.
My video pipeline is just like the one described in the latest errata (adv. 2.0.2), however the work around will not work for me as I cannot reset both VIP ports as the main port is always in use.
Is there a way to just reset one capture port? I'm using OMX not V4L. Would it be enough to tear down the VFCC component and start it again?
