TMS320TCI6486 Bootloader

Hi,

I'm using the TMS320TCI6486 (Tomahawk) chip.

In my application I didn't implement the MDIO logic and the MDIO pins aren't connected.

I have a question regarding the TCI6486 EMAC bootloader process: when setting the boot mode to be MAC port 0 and the MACSEL pins to GMII mode, how does the chip determine the wire speed (10 Mbps / 100 Mbps / 1000 Mbps)? Is it according to the Tx and Rx input clocks? Is it possible to force a certain wire speed for the EMAC during the bootloader process?

I'd appreciate a response ASAP.

Thanks in advance,

Elad.
