Just to confirm, if I use the TPS65910 PMU with the AM3359 processor, do I need any other separate voltage supplies for proper DDR2 operation?

Hi Paul,
If you are going to use DDR2 in your system it is recommended that you use the TPS65910AA1 which provides the 1.8V for DDR2.
Please refer to the following documentation for guidelines on how to connect the TPS65910Ax PMIC and the AM3355x processors:
TPS65910Ax User's Guide For AM335x Processors

ok, so just ot clear, no other external circuity is required for the DD2 except the TPS65910AA1 part, correct.

You should read the DDR2 Routing Guidelines section of the AM335x data sheet.
You may need to provide series termination resistors on the address/control signals based on your use case.
You will also need to provide a DDR_VTP reference resistor and DDR_VREF voltage source.

Paul
