Vcap_getVideoSourceStatus fails

Hi folks,
ongoing, we are testing the DM8168 platform from Udworks (DVRRDK_01_09_00_19).
If no camera is connected at channel 0 or if a NTSC camera is connect at channel 0
the Function Vcap_getVideoSourceStatus() in DVR_StartSystem() gets a status isVideoDetect = FALSE for all other channels.
Vcap_getVideoSourceStatus always retuns zero, independently if camera (PAL or NTSC) is conected or not.
Any idea ?
Regards Holger

  • This is a bug and the video decoder get status queries only TVP0 status (capture channels 0 - 3) and does not consider status of other TVPs.Note that  all channels should be NTSC or PAL in a TVP as it does not support mixing NTSC and PAL inputs. We will be fixing this bug in the next RDK release 3.5
