H264 decoder long delay

Hi,

I'm decoding H264 video stream on DM6467t using h2641080p60vdec (ver. 1.20.00.14) or h264dec (ver. 01.10.04.00) decoders. Sometimes, every few minutes, the call to decoder's Vdec2_process takes very long - about 1 sec. The input encoded stream is 720P60 created with h264fhdvenc 01.10.02.03 encoder.

Please help me solve this problem.

What version of DSP Link are you using?
    http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/DSPLink/index.html

If not the latest, you might try updating - my recollection is that there was a rare issue like that 1 sec delay in some earlier releases, but it was fixed a year or two ago.

Hi Chris,

Thank you. I have updated the dsplink_linux from 1_64 to 1_65_01_06, and the delays reduced to ~70ms.
