GRAY format C6678 H.264 codecs

Hello,

Is the C6678 H.264 BP or MP/HP encoder/decoder supported GRAY format (inputChromaFormat field from the IVIDENC_Params) for video input ?

Hi,

Currently GRAY format (i.e., XDM_GRAY ) is not supported in C6678 H.264 codecs: H264BP encoder (C66x_h264venc_01_24_00_01_ELF), H264BPMP decoder (C66x_h264vdec_02_04_00_03_ELF), and H264HP decoder (C66x_h264hpvdec_01_01_00_01_ELF). This is documented in the corresponding user guide docs.

Hi,

C6678 H.264MP/HP encoder is under development. The coming release does not support GRAY format either.
