I own a EVM6678LE board. I have run the HUA application using DHCP. So I want to try the static IP. However, I can not find the right information.
Firstly, I found the information here http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/TMDXEVM6670L_EVM_Hardware_Setup, "The application needs an IP address. It can use either a static IP address (pre-configured) or it can request one using DHCP. This is controlled by setting User Switch 2 to ON for DHCP and OFF for Static. See SW9. "
Secondly, I also found the information from BIOS_MCSDK_2.0_Getting_Started_Guide#Hardware_Setup, "Note: The HUA demo runs in Static IP or DHCP mode depending on the User Switch 2. Please see the Hardware Setup section for information on switch settings and HUA Demonstration Guide for information on static IP configuration. "
Thirdly, I got the information from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/MCSDK_HUA_Demonstration_Guide at part Run Instructions , "The demo runs in Static IP mode if User Switch 1 is OFF else if it is ON then it runs in DHCP mode. See the Hardware Setup section for the location of User Switch 1"
Fourthly, I found another information from Technical_Reference_Manual for the boot mode switch settings on the board, I got the following discription:
"3.3.5 SW9, DSP PCIE Enable / User Defined and DSP_DSPCLKSEL /
FPGA_PACLKSEL Switch Configuration
SW9 is a 4-position DIP switch. The first position is used for enabling the PCI Express
Subsystem within the DSP. The second position is undefined by hardware and available for
application software use. The third and fourth positions are used by selecting the PLL
sources for CORECLK and PASSCLK of the DSP. A diagram of the SW9 switch (with factory
default settings) is shown below:
Finally, I am totally confused. Which one is correct? And the most confusing thing is where is the user switch 1 and user switch 2? Because I can only find the SW3-SW6 and the SW9.
My most import question, how to configure the static IP for my dsp board. I will use the PCIe so I do not hope the PCIe enable switch(the first position of SW9) is for IP configuration.
