opkg not working on DM81xx EVM

I'm trying to use opkg to install a few packages on my DM8127 IP camera EVM but when I run "opkg udpate", I get the following error messages:

However, I can successfully ping web sites like Google:

I have seen other posts (like http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/717/t/102477.aspx) that mention DNS or routing configuration on the EVM as the problems so here is the current setup on my device (where 192.168.1.254 is the address of my router/gateway):

/etc/resolv.conf

Please let me know if you see anything wrong with the route/resolv.conf setup on my EVM or any other suggestions to help resolve this issue.
