CCP2 Sensor integration

Hi ,

We are trying to integrate a CCP2 based VGA camera in OMAP4460.

Its connected to CSI2B interface which supports both CSI2 and CCP2 / CSI1 modes.

We would like to know how the CSI2B interface can be configured in CCP2 mode.

In the ducati sensor driver description file there is no option to specify the CCP2 mode.

Only CSI_A or CSI_B option is there.

Has this been done before ? If so can you help us with the configuration ?

In the Ducati software there is no default support for CCP2 sensor integration. If you want to use CCP2 sensor the support has to be added in the SW.

Please refer TRM from below link for the configuration for CCP2 configuration for capture.

Ducati SW uses CCP interface for loading sensor output into IPIPE. Because of this, CCP is not available for connecting an external sensor. Sensor must be connected to either of CSI2 ports.

Hi Rajesh,

Did you ever figure out how to get the CCP2 interface up and running. I am trying to do the same on a PHYTech OMAP4430 board?

I have tried to follow the instructions in sections 8.2.3.2.3 (ISS CCP2 and Link Initialization Sequence) and 8.2.4 (ISS CCP2) of the OMAP4430 TRM with little success.
