Interpretation

I have another question about a different device, one that I believe TI no longer makes, but a DESC version is still available from another manufacturer and we are using that in our design. Would you be able to refer me to someone there at TI who can answer questions about the TMS320C31? We are interpreting a timing diagram for a memory write cycle, which will be used to write to a memory-mapped DAC via an FPGA which provides timing specific to the DAC. We need to resolve some ambiguities in a few aspects of this diagram to know whether a solution we are planning will work. Please let me know if there is someone to whom I can direct this question.

  • This should be moved to the C6000 forums.

  • Hello Gene,

I've reviewed the inquiry submitted by the customer above and wanted to close with you.  Unfortunately, we do not have anyone in our team that can offer technical assistance to the customer on TMS320C31 product.  Because this was posed to the forum and there weren't other responses, I'm guessing that there aren't others who are still using this device that could offer assistance either.  I would recommend to the customer to consider looking into our newer DSP platform as these will have better support available.

I apologize that the news wasn't more positive, but we simply don't have the expertise in house to address the question(s).

    Regards,
    Kanika Carver
