Current spike when resetting.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730, TPS65950

When we power on the DM3730 in our design, there is a multi-amp current spike that occurs for 200ms to 400ms.  This spike occurs something like 500ms after the SYS_NRESPWRON is released.  After the unit is running, if we push our reset button (tied to SYS_NRESPWRON), we get the same multi-amp spike 500ms after the reset is released.

If we reset using SYS_NRESWARM, there is no spike at all.

Even if we use the SYS_NRESWARM for resets, there is still an initial power-on spike.  What is causing that, is it a problem?   What happens 500ms after the reset is released?

We are using the TPS65950, with the SYS_NRESWARM driving the NRESWARM input of the PMIC.
