C5505 USB Clock supplied by external clock ?

Hello,

does anybody know if it is possible to supply the USB Clock from an external Oscillator? If so, what are the requirements?

The USB_MXI pin requires an external 12-MHz crystal oscillator input. Please refer to USB 2.0 Terminal Functions and other USB related materials in dData Manual.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear: I meant, how can I feed an existing 12 MHz clock signal into USB_MXI.

So the input voltage on USB_MXI may be up to 3.3 V ?
