AM1808 LogicPD board - Connecting XDS100 to target?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM1808

Any suggestions on how to get the TI emulator to connect with the target would be appreciated.  I just need to do a few basics like read and write to memory.

I attempted an install on Fedora 15 that has all of the latest updates.

Near the end of the install the X server crashed and I had to restart.

Upon logging back in, I had icons on  my desktop for CCSV5, looking like the install did complete successfully.  I believe the crash was a Fedora

15 problem as opposed to a CCS Installation issue.

I was able to lauch the CCS installation GUI and point it to a valid license file.  I have gone through numerous web pages trying to figure out how to connect to JTAG on the target but was unsuccessful. Basically we plan to use the JTAG only in the initial board bringup, for example to be able to test read / write memory.

I had downloaded target configuration files from the LogicPD web site as referenced in the documentation:

CCSv4-2-4_with_SOM-M1_BSL_WS/ARM BSL/AM1808_XDS100v2.ccxml  but CCS said they were invalid configuraiton files, perhaps this configuration was for an older version of CCS, I don't know.

I do see that when I do a physical connection to the target that the kernel recognizes the TI XDS100 device.
