ieee 802.1Qav support on DM8148

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am a student and I am trying to elaborate ieee 802.1Qav support on DM8148(Centaurus board).

I want your support regading this. My concept is to generate Qav compliance packets and sent it over

ethernet and receive this packet on a linux PC or other Centaurus board. Can anyone give me some information about this?

I try to study DM8148 refrence manual and there i got  the rate limiting mode in DM8148 and configure the DM8148

 for 802.1Qav operation. But when i try to search on the forum i could get the information that till now nothing is said

about Qav support on register level on DM8148. i am little bit confuse. can anyone help me in this confusion and how

can i do this little work on Dm8148 or we can't do this for now because TI hasn't provide enough information about Qav support

on DM8148 as said on this forum discussions ? As far as i come to know we can do this with this rate limiting mode.

    You can go and download the baseboard test SW from Mistral website at:

    It has many example / test SW include Ethernet that you can use as guide.

    but i want to elaborate on ieee 802.1Qav support on DM8148. I need some information about this. do you have some idea about it ? I heard that this support require a linux driver and this  driver has not been implemented yet.so we can't use this support.i am trying to use rate limiting mode of DM8148 to just simulate that a Qav compliant packets can be supported by DM8148. Am i going in right direction? Plz provide some information regarding this. Also can u plz give me register level details for Qav support on DM8148.
