DM814x video Input port Capability

Hi,

I want to use video Input port of DM8147 for below configuration.

1) One pixel clock domain for 16 bit BT.1120 and

2) Another pixel clock domain for 8 bit BT.656

As per the technical reference manual valid port configurations are

Port A	Port B
8bit	off
16bit	off
24bit	off
8bit	8bit
off	off

The above table on page 1592 of TRM doesn't mention 16 bit and 8 bit configuration for port A and port B.

Please clarify whether desired configuration is supported

Do you think that 16 bit and 8 bit configuration is added in TRM table 12-7?

I think the confusion here is coming from the nomenclature.

There are actually 2 different channels and each channel has 2 ports (4 ports in total). The table indicated indicates how the ports within a single channel can be used, but there are 2 channels (VIn0 and VIn1)

I have a question related to port configuration within single channel. I want to give BT.1120 input to one port and BT.656 to another. Both the ports should be within single channel.
